Although it doesn’t feel like it in Florida yet, it’s officially fall season! I’m excited about the cooler temperatures and warm fall beverages. One of my favorite parts about fall is being able to break out the fall decor. I’ll be sharing some fall home decor inspiration so you can reflect the cozy season in your home.
Start with Your Exteriors

I love how this home exterior emanates fall vibes without using the obvious fall colors. As long as you are using fall elements like autumn flowers, gourds, and plaids, you can get away with unlikely color schemes. The pink details on the wreaths match perfectly with the yellow door.

This door wreath was created with corn and corn husks. Who would have thought corn husks could also make for excellent garland? It’s an inexpensive and sustainable way to decorate. I love how the bails of hay elevate the potted flowers.

This is a cute and playful way to decorate your front door and it’s simple to execute. All you need is brown paper, some fall-colored leaves, and a Sharpie. Add more visual interest by adding vignettes around the door. You can use pumpkins, lanterns filled with candles, and potted flowers.

Wreaths aren’t only reserved for doors. You can place them on your windows, too. Using firewood as decor also adds a nice touch.
Reflect the Season Indoors

One way to make your home interiors feel more like fall is through beautiful fall floral arrangements. Blooms in deep colors like the reds above are wonderful for fall. I love the unique combination of this bouquet.

If you have a fireplace mantel, take advantage of the space and create a festive display. You can turn it into your living room’s focal point. Place a cute wooden sign in the center and fill the spaces around it with pumpkins, birch vases, and greenery.
Cozy Up Your Outdoor Spaces

I love the creative use of plaid blankets in this outdoor space. The oversized wreath is gorgeous, too. The rustic look of the lanterns pairs pleasantly with the wooden benches. Plus, you can never go wrong with stacked gourds.

Buffalo check and fall go hand in hand. This buffalo check rug creates a look that’s equal parts classic and stylish. It goes well with the brick exterior and contrasts well with the green pillows.

Get Creative with Your Pumpkins

Feel free to get creative when decorating your pumpkins. There are so many ways to do this in addition to carving them. You can paint fun patterns on them as shown above.

Add some glitz to your pumpkin with metallic glitter. These pumpkins were painted white. The leaves were created by using glue to create the leaf’s shape and applying metallic glitter on top.

You can also place pressed autumn leaves on your painted pumpkins. The white paint really makes them pop. Découpage the leaves on by using ModPodge.
Entertain with Beautiful Tablescapes

When having guests over, a beautiful tablescape can help create the right ambiance. You can’t go wrong with a plaid table runner and lovely centerpiece. The gold pinecones add a touch of glam.

I adore how sophisticated this neutral table setting is. The gray charger plates contrast beautifully with the white and cream colors. The small candles lined up with the gourds help to create an elevated look.
As you can see, there are many creative ideas for fall home decor. Have you started decorating for fall? If not, I hope this post inspired you to try something new.
