Airbnb has been offering unique stays and experiences since its inception, but it’s not until 2017 that they really started to expand into luxury travel. That’s when the company acquired Luxury Retreats and launched a division of their brand called Airbnb Luxe. Through Airbnb Luxe, luxury travel experiences are now more easily accessible. You can now visit some of the world’s most spectacular properties with your own dedicated trip designer.
Once COVID travel restrictions are no longer in place, you can visit award-winning homes in New Zealand and South Africa or visit a castle in France. Keeping travel restrictions in mind, I rounded up a few stunning properties within the U.S. Join me for a virtual tour of these incredible homes.
Floating Mansion in Miami

The Floating Mansion is a modern, floating villa like no other offering panoramic views of the ocean. It’s in a prime location — close to Brickel, Downtown Miami, and just about 5 miles from Miami’s Design District. The villa has an open floor plan with 3 bedrooms, 4.5 baths, and state-of-the art kitchen.

My favorite part is the outdoor terrace where you can lounge around while taking in the endless blue of ocean and sky. The glass panels encasing the terrace really make the mansion feel like it’s floating, true to its name. It’s a great spot to soak up some Florida sunshine.
Alpine in Beverly Hills

This forested oasis is a nice surprise in the prestigious neighborhood of Beverly Hills, California. I absolutely love the greenery wrapped around the home and dangling from the balconies. This home is located just off Sunset Blvd. complete with a home theater and secluded pool. It has 7 bedrooms and 7.5 baths.

The interiors are absolutely stunning. I love the unique flooring and ceiling in the photo above and the deep couches look so comfortable. The unique shape of the large window/doors is beautiful, too.
The Overlook at Breckenridge

If you’re craving a mountain getaway, The Overlook in Breckenridge, Colorado just might be the perfect spot. The home has an expansive deck ideal for stargazing and admiring the peaks. You can cuddle up by the stone fireplace inside or enjoy the beautiful scenery from the private hot tub on the patio.

Eagle’s Nest in Utah

This rustic lodge in Provo, Utah is another breathtaking spot to enjoy a mountainside getaway. Eagle’s Nest is located in the gorgeous alpine woods near Sundance Resort, recognized by Conde Nast Traveler as one of the top global destinations. The resort offers year-round activities like downhill skiing, fly fishing, and more.

I love this spacious deck with a beautiful stone fireplace. There are plenty of lounge areas to relax and enjoy the surrounding landscapes. The perfect spot to be out in nature to reflect or enjoy the company of friends and/or family.
Mustard Seed in Austin

How charming is this exquisite stone exterior with an arched wooden door? The details make you feel like you are stuck in the pages of a fairy tale. You can find this farmhouse-inspired retreat in Texas near Lake Austin.

This fire pit right by the lake is an excellent spot to enjoy some quality time with loved ones. The rounded seating creates an intimate setting ideal for exchanging conversation. The string lights are a nice touch.

This living room is my absolute favorite. The design style is a charming blend of French Country and farmhouse vibes. The exposed wood beams on the ceiling are gorgeous. I love how they warm up the room and pair well with the white stone fireplace.
I hope you enjoyed the virtual tour of these splendid Airbnb Luxe properties as much as I did. Did they inspire any future vacation plans? Which property was your favorite?
