Floral Wallpaper Inspo

Options for floral wallpaper have come a long way. I’m a huge fan! There are so many beautiful designs from small floral patterns to large stunning, realistic designs. Whether you want something simple or more elaborate, there’s likely a design for you. I’ve gathered some stunning interiors with floral wallpaper for inspiration.

Black and White

A dining room with dark floral wallpaper balanced with white curtains.

I love this dining room with dark floral wallpaper. It pairs well with the black dining room chairs. I like how the white flowers on the wallpaper are large and realistic. The white curtains tone down the dark wallpaper. The floral centerpiece on the table completes the room perfectly. I think matching real flowers to the floral wallpaper is always a brilliant idea.

A bathroom with three quarter subway tile walls topped with black and white floral wallpaper.

This bathroom is ultra-chic. I love how the black and white floral only covers a third of the wall. The white subway tiles keep the bathroom looking fresh. The round black-framed mirror and gold fixtures keep it modern. I love how the black door contrasts with the bright white and matches the wallpaper.

A sophisticated and stylish dining room with grayscale, floral wallpaper.

I appreciate how unique this grayscale wallpaper is and how the floral design looks sketched on. This dining room feels ethereal and sophisticated — a look that’s not easy to achieve. The transparent table base along with the gold and transparent light fixtures are perfection. The colorway of the Parson chairs is impeccable and don’t get me started on the floral arrangement. This entire look is splendid!

Bright and Bold

A casual modern living room with bright and bold, floral wallpaper.

In this living room the floral design is smaller. The smaller floral pattern and color palette make this wallpaper less feminine. The black and white framed artwork help break up the pattern so it doesn’t look too busy. The wallpaper works as a wonderful backdrop for the neutral couch. It pairs well with the natural elements of the chairs, too. I love how the floral throw pillow pulls out some color from the wallpaper.

A entryway with floral wallpaper, a mid-century modern bench, and plant in an eclectic vase.

I’m loving this wallpaper in this entryway. The white background makes the colors pop and keeps it easy on the eyes. The wallpaper pairs beautifully with the midcentury modern bench. The gold lamp elevates the space and the funky plant inside the eclectic vase adds texture. In addition, the plant incorporates the biophilic trend.

A charming dining room with bright floral wallpaper, and red plaid tablecloth.

Colorful floral wallpaper, like the one above, is excellent for covering up portions of the wall rather than the whole wall. I love how it is paired here with a beautiful white fireplace and window frames. The colors make the room feel bright and cheerful. The wallpaper pairs well with the warm wooden floors and dining chairs. The mixed patterns of the floral wallpaper and tablecloth add character and keep the room interesting.

A laundry room with wallpaper that has plant leaves and flowers.

Who says a laundry room has to be boring? This almost makes doing laundry look fun. The floral wallpaper gives off jungle vibes and I’m all about it.

Southern Charm

A dreamy kitchen with blue cabinetry, wooden countertops, and gray and white floral wallpaper.

This kitchen is absolutely charming to say the least. The gray and white floral wallpaper couldn’t be a better match for the blue cabinets. The small shelves and gorgeous white window break up the wallpaper nicely. The brass hardware add an extra level of style. With blue being one of my favorite colors, this kitchen is a dream!

A shabby chic bedroom with a distressed bed frame and feminine floral wallpaper.

This floral wallpaper is perfect for this shabby chic bedroom. It has a feminine and sweet look. The distressed finish on the bedroom give off a vintage feel. The white bedding keeps the room bright and balanced.

I hope you enjoyed the variations of floral wallpaper as much as I enjoyed curating them. You can find some great options at Rifle Paper Co. and Antrhopologie. As you can see, you can make them work in many types of rooms. Which styles were your favorite?

Warmly,
Megan
