I’m excited to continue this mini-series on highlights from the High Point Market. High Point Market is the largest furnishings industry trade show in the world. It brings more than 75,000 people to High Point, North Carolina every six months and is pretty much the fashion week of home furnishings. You get to discover the newest home products and trends. This year, the event is being held online with virtual showrooms, and they’re really cool! Last week, I wrote about the Moe’s virtual showroom. This week, we’ll take a look at Surya’s virtual showroom at High Point Market.
Surya’s Virtual Showroom is quite a contrast from the Moe’s Virtual Showroom. The Moe’s showroom has a lot of sleek modern and contemporary pieces, while Surya’s virtual showroom showcases a lot of colorful and bohemian styles. The selection is very diverse. There is especially a wide selection of stunning rugs and pillows to choose from. Let’s dive into some of my favorite pieces.
Barlow Mirror

There are many things I love about the Barlow Mirror, from its unique shape to its interesting lines. I also love its champagne-colored frame and interlocking pattern. It makes for a great conversation piece and an excellent focal point.
Jaleah Light Sconce

This sophisticated Jeleah Light Sconce is so on-trend. Not only does it make a great black accent, but its geometric shape is also pleasing to the eyes. The brass detail gives the sconce an elevated look. These light sconces would make great lights on each side of a masterbed.
Adele Ceramic Vase

These iridescent, Adele Ceramic Vases are absolutely stunning. I love the contrast of the camel color on the bottom. It adds more dimension and intrigue to the mesmerizing design. These beauties are works of art.
Wilding Light Fixture

This Sputnik style Wilding Light Fixture is a true statement piece. The antique brass is gorgeous. This piece would work well in a stylish or glam setting.
Darby Table Lamp

This Darby Table Lamp is a perfect way to implement the biophilic trend into your home. I love how it resembles a beautiful piece of raw wood. It’s a great way to bring the feeling of the outdoors in. The finished wooden piece pairs perfectly with the crisp white lampshade.
Ansh Nesting Table Set

This Ansh Nesting Table Set is laid back and sophisticated at the same time. The black metal bases contrast well with the wooden tabletops. Spacing between the metal base breaks up the design wonderfully. The staggered heights of the tables add more visual interest.
Miriam Bench

I’m loving this Miriam Bench upholstered with a hand-woven design. Plus, there’s something extra stylish about hairpin legs. They are easy on the eyes and give the illusion of more space. I enjoy the neutral colors and Navajo pattern on this bench. It adds character without demanding attention.
Roxeanne Ottoman

The Roxeanne Ottoman is another one of my favorites since it’s in line with one of 2020’s top design trends, green accents. Its velvet texture, rich emerald color, and gold base make this piece luxurious and elegant. Use this ottoman to add a pop of color to any space.
Alana Pouf

This Alana Pouf is simple in shape and color but far from simple in design. The mix of interlocking and smocked design adds a beautiful texture. This creamy neutral is versatile and can fit nicely in a range of spaces.
Alpine Rug

The Surya showroom has so many beautiful rugs to choose from. They come in many different designs and colors from simple to intricate. The gorgeous coloring of this Alpine Rug makes it feel both vintage and new.
I hope you enjoyed these highlights from Surya’s virtual showroom at High Point Market. Check out the virtual showroom for yourself and then tell me which was your favorite piece!
Warmly,
Megan
