Although the world is going through tough times right now, we can always choose to look for the silver lining and hold on to hope. Social distancing may be keeping us apart physically, but thanks to modern technology, there are still ways that we can celebrate together as a family.
May we use the time we have to appreciate our loved ones even more, especially during the upcoming Easter holiday. In this post, I’ve put together a few ideas to keep the mood light. These include making this Easter special with fun DIY crafts and incorporating an Easter color palette into your décor to brighten the day.
The Palette
Pastel colors are made for Easter. To create the perfect classic Easter color palette, we recommend keeping it simple with pastels in lavender, pink, and a warm white.
Lavender

Rhapsody Lilac (SW 6828) is a beautiful purple tone. It’s a great choice for the base of your Easter color palette. This color can be found in nature as well as in many Easter crafts and decorations. For an earthy ambiance, use lavender or lilac flowers in your centerpieces and table settings.
Pink

Diminutive Pink (SW 6588) is the perfect shade of pink for your Easter color palette. It is light and airy, perfectly complementing Rhapsody Lilac. When paired with a warm white, Diminutive Pink feels homey and welcoming.
Warm White

Ibis White (SW 7000) is a great example of a “warm white” or a white with warm undertones. This neutral color allows muted pastels in pink and lavender to really shine. Using a warm white rather than a bright white also adds a bit of a rustic feel to the palette.
Easter Décor Inspiration
Shae Collection from Crate and Barrel

The Shae stoneware collection from Crate and Barrel showcases the beauty of a pastel pink and off-white combination. Use this dinnerware set along with a floral centerpiece of lavender, white hydrangeas, and lilacs to create a stunningly simple yet elegant Easter table.
Lovely Lilac

Here is a stunning example of our Easter color palette incorporated into Eater décor. I love the addition of lavender feathers and simple greenery.
Rose & Gold

The combination of pastel pinks and gold flatware in this tablescape is incredibly charming. I love the tree stump chargers and monogrammed eggs. The foliage along the table runner is an excellent touch.
