The jaw-dropping masterpiece of a home at 924 Bel Air Road is located in the hills of Bel-Air, California within striking distance of the distinguished Beverly Hills and Holmby Hills neighborhoods—home to the most affluent people in the world. Straight out of a dream, this home, dubbed “Billionaire,” was developed by real estate developer Bruce Makowsky. You can tell that he was striving for perfection when creating this luxury estate. I think it’s safe to say that he has met his goal.
Every detail of this breathtaking architectural work of art was meticulously thought out, from the landscape to the materials and lighting. The home was strategically positioned on the mountainside with the most incredible views of both the snow-capped San Gabriel mountains and sunny shores of Malibu, giving you the best of both worlds. With no budget restrictions, Bruce and his team were able to acquire the finest materials from all over the world to construct this beauty.
Let’s explore the “Billionaire”, shall we? With 38,000 square feet of interior space and 20,000 square feet of seamless decks, there is a lot to cover.
The Exterior
From the outside looking in, you can view each gorgeous room through the floor-to-ceiling windows. This provides you with a fantastic overview of what you are about to discover inside. The estate looks just as stunning in the evening as it does during the day. Sophisticated exterior lighting solutions turn this mega-mansion into a beacon of luxury. Zoom in on the top and you’ll see a helicopter pad. On the bottom floor, you’ll spot an auto gallery.
The Pool
Travel one floor up to soak up the California sun on the resort-style pool deck. The pool deck is complete with an infinity pool, ample lounge chairs, a beautiful pop-up screen, and breathtaking views all around. The astroturf placed around the pool makes the space fit right into its surroundings. This would be the perfect spot to host the most epic pool party. I can just imagine soaking up the sun and sipping on a glass of champagne in one of those lounge chairs perfectly positioned in the pool…
The Interior
Considering there are four floors, two master suites, and 10 oversized VIP guest suites, we won’t be able to cover every room, but we can go over the highlights. One of my favorite elements in this house is the glass floating staircase. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever seen before—unusual, beautiful, and slightly futuristic. I love how the floor-to-ceiling windows give you a stellar view from pretty much every room in the house.
You can take in gorgeous views whether you’re working in the office or getting a massage. (Sign me up for the latter!) Unique stones and surfaces fill the interior of the home. As if there wasn’t enough beauty to take in, the house has over 100 bespoke art installations.
Entertainment
If you didn’t already have enough reasons to never leave this house, consider the impressive entertainment features: a four-lane bowling alley and lounge, massage studio, wellness spa, state-of-the-art fitness center, an indoor theater with 40 seats, five bars, and two fully stocked champagne and wine cellars. That’s not to mention the gorgeous, wooden foosball tables and the room filled with candy dispensers. There is truly something for everyone!
This estate is the epitome of luxury. As much as I could go on and on about this incredible use of space, our tour has come to a close. This is one of the most impressive spaces I’ve ever seen.
Thank you for joining me on this splendid excursion. I hope you enjoyed the tour as much as I did. If you would like more details on the home, you can check out the listing here.
