Bethenny Frankel, founder of Skinnygirl and a cast member on the reality show the Real Housewives of New York, purchased a loft in SoHo in 2017 that needed a complete renovation. It was a huge undertaking, but Bethenny went for it. The convenience of it being located right next to her office and the size – 4,000 square feet – made her feel like she couldn’t pass it up.
She saw potential in many of its original details and kept a good deal of them intact through the renovation. Her focus remained on creating a home that was perfect for her and her daughter, Bryn, even down to keeping it a two-bedroom apartment despite its large size. Her choice is a great example of designing for your lifestyle and making your home truly work for you.
