Actress Emily Blunt and her husband, actor John Krasinski recently listed their very special four-story brownstone located in Park Slope, Brooklyn. The home is bursting with character. The couple preserved the home’s original features that include stunning molding, flooring, multiple fireplaces, built-in bookcases, and stained glass windows.
They incorporated their own flair into the home in the form of lively pops of color and a general sense of whimsy and comfort. Several windows, many of which are floor-to-ceiling, fill the home with light. Unfortunately, the couple travels too often to be able to enjoy it, so they’ve put it on the market in the hope that someone else will be able to appreciate it on a daily basis.

Emily Blunt and John Krasinski Home Tour
Stunning original molding and floors carry tons of character throughout the home. Love the pop of blue on the staircase for some contrast.
A tall mirror framed with more stunning molding mimics the look of a fireplace and makes the front parlor feel brighter and more open.
Built-in bookcases flank the fireplace for a cozy, charming look in the living room. The stained glass windows look like works of art above the shelves.
The dining room is spacious, yet cozy thanks to another beautiful fireplace. Even though the architectural details are traditional, the modern chandelier brings a touch of whimsy as contrast.
Floor-to-ceiling windows fill the kitchen with plenty of light, which bounces off the white cabinets and subway tile backsplash. The gold hardware adds a touch of glamour.
Stripes add a soothing touch of character to the master bedroom, which has yet more stunning windows including a charming alcove.
More stained glass welcomes you into the bathroom. It’s clean in white, grey, and marble accents with gold hardware to provide some contrast.
The patio is stylish and private with ample space for entertaining and even some greenery among the city landscape.
Such a great place!
Warm regards,
Megan
