In the search for peace and privacy, Alex moved from Biscayne Bay to Coral Gables to create a family home that would suit their lifestyle. The sprawling structure that fully embraces a modern style in architecture, landscaping, and interior design. While everything is very streamlined, there are some elements incorporated into the design such as reclaimed wood that bring some character and warmth to the space.

Another unique thing about the home is how much it embraces an indoor-outdoor lifestyle. Most spaces in the home open right up to an outdoor area with doors that disappear into the walls and blur the line between the interior and nature.

The pool blends right into the modern landscaping with a minimalist design.

The beautiful wood floorboards are reclaimed from an old barn, giving the sleek modern home a touch of rustic charm.

Some select pops of red create a stunning contrast against the cool blue tones of the living room.

At night, the indoor-outdoor nature of the design is seen from a new perspective thanks to the glow from the lights.

The kitchen is rich with masculine tones and a gorgeous black backsplash.

Alex’s appreciation for art is on display in the dining room, which has white walls to allow the art to shine.

The lacquered black walls and ceiling in the home office look ultra luxurious.

Of course, an all-star athlete will have a great hangout spot for watching sports. The decor still captures the modern, minimalist vibe of the rest of the home.
