One thing that the cities in Europe all have in common is the inspiring mixture of history and innovation. It’s this rich, unique blend that many of my favorite hotels share and what the Dominican in Brussels, Belgium captures exquisitely.
The hotel’s neoclassical appeal starts at the doors and flows through the entire building. The old and the new are so seamlessly blended that they feel intrinsic to each other, resulting in an eclectic atmosphere that looks fresh, yet classic. Some very well-chosen bursts of color pull in the modern vibe with the help of clean lines and metallic accents. Meanwhile, classic architectural elements and striking artwork infuse historical character into the design.
