As a native of California, I have a deep appreciation for the beauty and special flavor of the state. There are so many amazing places to explore and be inspired by, both in nature and in the cities. Some of the best places to get ideas from are the hotels in California, but I stumbled upon a gem that definitely stood out from all the rest.
The San Vicente Bungalows in West Hollywood are a wonderfully unique place to stay. Made up of 29 whitewashed bungalows, this resort gives you more of the California experience than your typical hotel. The grounds are full of lush, tropical landscaping and colorful flowers. At the center of the property is a beautiful pool area where you can kick back and relax, and every bungalow is within walking distance of charming shops, restaurants, and entertainment.
I’m so smitten by the charm and character of this resort. The community feeling is so unique and creates an experience unlike other options in West Hollywood. Enjoy this sweet hotel tour.
The pool area has a vintage vibe that harkens back to old Hollywood with a luxurious pool and scalloped-edge umbrellas.
The interiors of the bungalows are simple and chic. Here’s a peek at one of the bathrooms, which is all-white for a crisp, clean look.
The bungalows have access to many of the normal amenities of the hotel. I love this adorable coffee and pastry area lit by string lights.
Beautiful vines wrap around lattice to create a relaxing, shaded seating area outdoors.
Striped awnings at to the charm of the buildings and give it a very chic flair.
Black and white looks very chic in one of the bungalows. The simplified decor is very relaxing and unfussy.
The multi-sided seating is perfect for this courtyard to accommodate multiple guests while entertaining.
Clean lines give the interiors a nice modern edge.
A floral throw brings some color and life to the neutral palette.
These adorable bungalows offer some great ideas to incorporate into your own home.
Warm regards,
Megan
