10 Charming Spaces with Exposed Beams

When people say they want their home to have “charm,” they know the feel they want to capture but aren’t always sure exactly what that translates to in decor. Sometimes, particularly with newer houses, it can seem like charm is hard to come by. In my experience, I’ve found that some tried and true elements can make a huge difference.

Natural elements like wood and stone are great for bringing a natural charm to your home, regardless of the style. Exposed beams are one of my favorite ways to incorporate wood. Whether they are naturally a part of your home or you add them after the fact, they can add a lot of charm to a space.

There are many different ways to embrace them depending on the style and shape of the room, so here are 10 beautiful spaces that embraced their exposed wood beams.
