As someone who has spent most of her life between California and Florida, it’s no secret that I love the coast. Coastal decor is one of my favorites to decorate with. What some people don’t realize is how versatile and broad this style can be. The first thought is often a light blue and white color palette with typical sea motifs. The truth is, coastal spaces can be just as bold and creative as any other style.
Recently, I have been seeing some coastal spaces that have bold, vibrant color palettes and I am loving them. It’s a great take on this style that, in my opinion, is so full of life and inspiration. These following spaces certainly did not shy away from color.
Bright pinks and blues pop against a white palette and weathered wood.
This vignette is very Miami with its splash of cheerful colors.
Fuchsia pairs beautifully with coastal neutrals for a feminine take on the style.
Coral walls bring this adorable bathroom to life.
Why not a lime and white striped door for your beach house?
Green paint gives this porch a ton of personality, while the blue and orange accents add character.
Large white and blue stripes give this hallway a fun nautical touch.
Coral dresses up this living room with a free-spirited vibe of a day at the beach.
This dining room proves that greens and blues can be both chic and sophisticated.
For a vintage vibe and a dose of positive energy, orange can deliver.
Coastal design can be expressed through many different colors, so don’t think you have to choose between your love for bright colors and the sea.
Warm regards,
Megan
