Some of my favorite colors are from the spring color palette. Though I love the warm tones of fall and the iciness of winter, spring colors are inspiring in how fresh and lively they are. It’s like taking a deep breath when you look at them. Decorating with these colors can infuse that feeling into your daily atmosphere to keep you on your toes.
It’s easy to incorporate these colors in temporary ways such as through pillows and other accents, but if you are looking for a more permanent way to bring them into your home, consider playing with paint options. Here are ten of the most popular options for spring paint colors in a selection of beautiful spaces that are alive with the spirit of spring.
SEA FOAM GREEN: This minty green color has a coastal pigment that makes a fresh first impression in this entryway. The glossy finish really makes it look like water.
SALMON: Salmon is a lovely shade of pink that is romantic and whimsical, especially in a dining room.
CORAL: For a deeper, though equally as fresh shade of pink, try coral. This coral front door really pops against the white molding.
TURQUOISE: Turquoise is one of the most favored spring colors and looks fabulous on an accent wall.
APPLE GREEN: If an apple a day keeps the doctor away, maybe the same can be said about these vibrant green walls in an entryway.
PASTEL YELLOW: A soft yellow is soothing and cheerful in this charming bathroom.
SUNNY YELLOW: For a more lively look, a brighter yellow brings energy to this breakfast nook.
PALE BLUE: How beautiful do these pale blue cabinets look with the warm wood floors and marble backsplash?
MARIGOLD: Marigold is a stunning shade of orange that will make you feel like you’re in the Tuscany countryside.
VIOLET: Violet has a soft, romantic vibe that looks elegant in this dining room.
It’s hard not to fall in love with all the beautiful colors of one of the most inspiring times of the year. What could they do for your home?
Warm regards,
Megan

what is the coral color used in the article? It’s beautiful! Thank you!
Hi Nicole,
I agree, it is stunning! I don’t know what the paint color is, but the designer of the space is Katie Rosenfeld. You can contact her via her website and she might be able to tell you: http://katierosenfelddesign.com/
Here are more photos from that beautifully designed home by Katie that you can refer to in your email: http://honeyandfitz.com/2014/07/10/south-shore-oceanfront-design-by-katie-rosenfeld/
Good luck! :)
