My team and I recently shot a fun before and after video of a home we staged. The house was a completely blank palette. We couldn’t wait to give it warmth and charm with the addition of furniture and accessories. It was a perfect example of how even new house with beautiful bones can benefit from staging.

Even though this house had tons of space and stunning features, it didn’t feel like a home yet. An empty house can feel cold and uninviting. The majority of buyers can’t imagine what it will look like with furniture in it. It’s difficult for them to envision how the rooms can be laid out and how everything can possibly fit into each space. In most cases, they will underestimate the size of an empty room and assume it is small, when in reality it can fit plenty of furniture. If you take out this guesswork for buyers, you are a giant leap ahead.
