It is always inspiring to see a homeowner take a vision for their dream home and turn it into reality through a labor of love. That’s exactly what Alex Rodriguez did when he purchased a plot of land in Coral Gables, Florida and built the home of his dreams from the ground up.
In the search for peace and privacy, Alex moved from Biscayne Bay to Coral Gables to create a family home that would suit their lifestyle. The sprawling structure that fully embraces a modern style in architecture, landscaping, and interior design. While everything is very streamlined, there are some elements incorporated into the design such as reclaimed wood that bring some character and warmth to the space.
Another unique thing about the home is how much it embraces an indoor-outdoor lifestyle. Most spaces in the home open right up to an outdoor area with doors that disappear into the walls and blur the line between the interior and nature.
Architectural Digest gave us the opportunity to get a tour of this fantastic home that is full of inspiring style and ideas.
